A Luna Moth, or Actias luna.
While considered a common moth in North America, sightings of them are rather uncommon. While that’s partly because they’re far more active at night, Luna Moths, like other Saturniidae, lack a mouth and do not eat in the adult phase of their life, thus only living for a week at most before they die.
There was one of these that would camp out on my front door for awhile….I walked outside to find him on pieces on the porch. ): Damn neighborhood cats.
